A sleeping artist is a working artist.

The essential role of dreams for creative work is indisputable. Yet sleep is often seen as an act of rest, of inactivity, of doing nothing, and artists are often labelled as lazy by the common full-time employee. The lens through which one perceives this work, reveals reveals something about one's perception of art and artists.


Echoing the famous Shroud of Turin, the work captures a deeply personal and intimate moment, while displaying the artist as a "site of divination".
