Vanessa Gageos is an interdisciplinary MediaArtist, performing her own sound-, haptic- and visual-installations.

Through the many different artistic directions with which she experimented, Gageos was able to develop an independent, yet interrelated perspective, which forms the foundation for each of her artistic concepts and visions, allowing them to unfold freed of any fixed medium or technique.
Her works move between art, technology and science, with the goal of bringing philosophical ideas into materiality and opening up alternative spaces to contemplate, gain knowledge and possibly take action.

She has performed and/or exhibited at Hamburger Bahnhof Museum für Gegenwart Berlin, Haus der Kulturen der Welt Berlin at Transmediale Festival, ZKM - Zentrum für Kunst und Medien Karlsruhe among others and has been nominated for the Pax Art Award for Media Art in Switzerland.
