I was almost asleep, when the thought of a recording I made with a Sony voice recorder at the end of 2008 came to me. Back then, I created a rough cut and used it to apply to study Music and Media Art at HKB in 2009. I do not remember thinking about it ever since.

The next day, I searched for this recording and was surprised to find the rough cut. There was a strange euphoric feeling of being transported to this time, 18 years ago, to the same room with my mother and my grandmother.

This recording is the starting point for a work exploring acoustic memory and the calling of ghosts.
