-logy is a “science fiction” performance reflecting upon the power of technology in the society and the possible lost of humanity through the connection to the technological network.
Exploiting the idea of the exchange of power and energy between the two: technology becomes alive with the help of human and so the human becomes connected and belongs to a dynamic network with the help of technology, the performance is the live representation of Vilém Flusser’s definition of the future man as a terminal of a cable.
In the performance, the performer represents the robotic-role of technology, wearing cables that one-by-one are being linked to the inner wrist of the chosen participant from the audience, in order for the exchange of energy to take place. In the moment of contact between cable and skin, the whole system becomes alive by its sound.
